9 Days Lemosho Route – Kilimanjaro Climb (7 Days on the Trek)

Climb Kilimanjaro via the scenic 9-day Lemosho Route. Enjoy a gradual ascent, high summit success, fewer crowds, and stunning landscapes—ideal for adventurous trekkers.

Trek Overview

The 9-day Lemosho Route is widely considered one of the most scenic and rewarding ways to summit Mount Kilimanjaro. Starting from the remote western side, it allows for a gradual ascent and excellent acclimatization, increasing your chances of reaching Uhuru Peak—the highest point in Africa. This route offers varied landscapes from lush rainforests and moorlands to high alpine deserts, with fewer crowds than the busier trails. Ideal for experienced trekkers or those seeking a quieter, more immersive Kilimanjaro experience.
